Gr 6 girls playoff game

Congratulations to the gr 6 girls bball team on a fine game Wednesday.  They wrapped up their season after a very intense battle with HC elementary.  Their coaches are proud of how far they have come this season.  The girls no doubt are fired up about playing more bball maybe at Monday Buzzer Beater Basketball times.

Who:               CCS Students in grades 4, 5 and 6 who are serious about basketball

What:              Basketball skills, leadership and teamwork will be emphasized.   

Mr. Matthew Klaponski will be the teacher sponsor and school parents with basketball training will be directing the drills.  We will be asking that parents contact Mr. K by email to gain admission into this club as he would like to outline the responsibilities of athletes and their parents before a commitment is made.  Contact Mr. Klaponski at pe@ccsunited.ca if you have any further questions.

Basketball Skills Camp

Who:   Boys in Gr. 4-7 planning on attending Holy Cross High School.

When: Tues. March 17^th – Fri. March 20th Each Day 9am-12pm

Where: Holy Cross High School Gymnasium

Why: to improve overall basketball skills, meet future classmates and have fun.

How: email Head Coach/Teacher Matthew LeChasseur hcboysbasketball@gmail.com to confirm your sons’ spot in the camp. It is limited space and first come first serve.

            Fill out the form at the bottom and bring a cheque on the first day of the camp.

            Cost: $85.00 includes t-shirt.

Basketball Playoffs for the Gr 6 Girls

We are happy that the gr 6 girls will be entering the playoffs as they secured first place in their zone play this season.  They will have a home game in 2 weeks.  Also, all CCS bball teams trained well this season and represented our school positively at each game.  There are no more practices for teams.  Stay tuned for a possible basketball club for grades 4-6 boys and girls beginning after spring break.  More info to come!
