Check the athletics blog for dates and times and be sure to arrive early so that the teams are not inconvenienced.  A notice with practices will go home on Friday.  January games are not determined until after the second week of December.

Athletics Assembly on Wednesday, November 19th @ 1:30pm

CCS will be having a sports assembly on Wednesday, November 19th at 1:30pm.  We will be recognizing the efforts and accomplishments of our cross country, soccer and volleyball athletes and coaches.

BC Lions Faith Night Opportunity

The 3^nd annual BC Lions Faith Night, the game will take place on Friday November 7^th vs. Calgary Stampeders  at 7pm. It is an opportunity to come out and watch the BC Lions football game at a discounted rate and more importantly stay after the game and listen to the players speak about Faith, Family and Football in an open discussion. Ticket prices will be $34 each and there is no minimum or maximum number needed to buy tickets.

Holy Cross High School basketball opportunity for grade 5-7 girls

The Slamma Jamma team competes in Basketball BC’s U13 League from October to March. Open gyms are held on Sunday nights from 6 – 7:30 pm at Holy Cross High School and are for girls interested in playing basketball and having fun!  Once the season starts in October, the team will add a 2^nd practice on Wednesdays from 5-6pm at Frost Road Elementary School and the games will be Saturday mornings at the Langley Events Centre.  See Mr. K for a sign up paper.

Permission forms for teams will go out next week friday most likely!
